Producing a Film Using The
Wisdom of The Crowd
(2022)

I celebrated my 70th birthday on a film set in Serbia, shooting "The Man Who Saved the Internet with a Sunflower", my first feature drama. Alongside me on the set were the usual film crew, including actors, set designers, cinematographers, lighting, wardrobe, production staff, etc.

(about 80 people on average each day), and in addition, in spirit, were dozens of people who accompanied me throughout the process, even from afar. I produced this film by constantly utilizing crowdsourcing. Every stage of the film's production underwent voting, starting with the script, continuing with auditions and selection of actors, viewing edits, and more.

Even the film's title was chosen through a vote. The decisions were ultimately mine (and not always decided by majority rule). However, I believe that listening to diverse opinions and rationales helped me make the right decisions. Throughout the process, I was very attentive to the heartbeats of those tens of participants, and I am truly grateful to those who dedicated their time and effort to participate in the votes.
